Hello and welcome to my auction for the shorty T3 VW I am selling this because I need funds to finish my mk2 golf project. I bought this not long ago as a non running project, I have since then got it going and through a MOT.

Things I have done.... new starter motor, battery and alternator, new front discs, pads and callipers, a lot of metal brake pipes and x2 new rear brake cylinders, painted the wheels silver and the body satin black. Handbrake cable. Put a exhaust on it as the last one was too loud.

The previous owner to me spent over £24k having a German company carry out the body mods which included shortening it and making all the body kit out of steel. It is a 7 seater and looks very unique as I have never seen another like this.
It still needs more to be done on it but is a great base to start with.
It drives well but is a little underpowered due to being a non-turbo 1.9 diesel.
Things still to do include spraying the door shuts but as its just satin black can be done with a spray can (I have loads) and also the panels around the windows could do with another rub down and paint as they are a bit poor. The handbrake needs adjusting, I did it for the MOT but has started to get poor again. Radio doesn't work (not wired up). It needs x2 wheel nuts as it had lockers on it but had no key so I knocked them off. Fuel gauge doesn't work but I have a part coming on Tuesday from vw that will fix it. The log book still says its brown and a 1.9 petrol which needs changing.

Above all its a really great unique looking van that will draw attention, possibly ideal for advertising on. For the winning bidder to collect it might be easier bringing a tailor as I have only done around 40 miles in it since owning it, it gets to 60 mph ok but I think sitting on the motorway for a few hours might be a bit tedious.

Happy bidding. Cash on collection.
